I did not have a long lens and I climbed out there with him. Although he got much closer to the edge than I did (you'll note which side I shot on!:) I couldn't believe he got so far out there...obviously well-versed in the terrain and supremely self-confident!

Whoa! Brave bull! You, too, unless you had a mighty long lens! :-) I grew up with cattle like this who lived in flat pastures, so I find this very exciting and interesting. Beautiful composition--I love the parallel of the hill and the bull's back, and the shape of his rear with the shape of the shore line below. Really cool.
