There is, likely, nothing as whimsical and charming as the vintage French carousel that holds court in the wide plaza in the center of Segovia, Spain. Here, we see a young boy seemingly tethered to the colorful "dream" of that carousel set in contrast to the black and white background.
I am a storyteller, inspired to find the narrative in everything around me, whether words, music, or the amazing sights we see. My galleries are comprised of images that sparked my particular interest and imagination. Some were captured in grand moments, others in the tiniest slices of life; some are depictions of amazing locations, others are as simple as a sunset. Each has its own story, each as eclectic and varied as the world in which we live. I hope you find the images and stories that spark your own interest and imagination... This is one of my favorite photographs, but I felt the "noise" of the surrounds took away from the central image... which is why I went with some selective color. It makes me happy so I'm glad you like it too!

I like the processing approach here. It brings out the best in the image.
