There is no more iconic an urban image than the space-age wonder of Seattle's Space Needle. Built as part of the 1962 World's Fair, this 604' tower with a rotating restaurant was designated as a historical landmark in 1999 and is a favorite tourist attraction of visitors to the Pacific Northwest.
