Artist's Description
In the abandoned hotel in Garnet, Montana, one of the most intact old mining ghost towns in the country, a music room is found still appointed with a Victor "Victrola" record player and a shabby chair tucked in a corner marked by ripped wallpaper and patchy walls; one can assume music was played here!
About Lorraine Devon Wilke
I am a storyteller, inspired to find the narrative in everything around me, whether words, music, or the amazing sights we see. My galleries are comprised of images that sparked my particular interest and imagination. Some were captured in grand moments, others in the tiniest slices of life; some are depictions of amazing locations, others are as simple as a sunset. Each has its own story, each as eclectic and varied as the world in which we live. I hope you find the images and stories that spark your own interest and imagination... Thank you, Nikolyn. I was amazed to find it, too. The things people leave behind can make for beautiful art! :)

Congratulations on the tie for 2nd in the Abandoned contest. Excellent find - one would not expect that beautiful old phonograph to have been abandoned. Love the title.
