Near the Segovia Alcázar is the ancient Church of the True Cross, also known as the Templar Iglesia Vera Cruz. It's mysterious history includes a deep connection to the Knights of the Templar and it is told that many of the rites and rituals of that group took place in this 12th century church. This view if from the domed and circular room in the center of the church, raised above the main floor, in which a ceremonial altar and hidden rooms remain.
