This 17th-century square, the Plaza de la Corredera, was the site of Córdoba’s Roman amphitheatre, and the location for horse races, bullfights and Inquisition burnings. The umbrella'd square is now surrounded by balconied apartments and an assortment of pubs, cafes and shops.
