This stunning, almost mythical structure was the inspiration for Disney's castle for Cinderella and it's not hard to see why. High above on a rocky crag, the spires and lines of this iconic alcazar started as an Arab fortress built in the 10th century and evolved into this particular permutation with many builds and rebuilds over the ensuing centuries.

I am a storyteller, inspired to find the narrative in everything around me, whether words, music, or the amazing sights we see.
